Cisco and the IET

Two global giants joining forces - Cisco and the IET are working together to give Cisco certified professionals an assured fast-track route to IET membership. 

Both global organisations - Cisco and the IET have formed an agreement enabling active Cisco professionals to be assured a fast-track entry route to IET membership.  The IET is one of the world’s leading professional societies for the engineering and technology community and provides a global knowledge network to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and ideas and promotes the positive role of science, engineering and technology in the world.

By recognising Cisco certification as an assurance of professionalism, the IET is acknowledging the important part that this certificate plays in raising professionalism in the IT industry worldwide.  Similarly, Cisco is recognising the part that the IET plays in supporting the further development of its IT professionals.

This collaboration between the IET and Cisco Career Certifications program means that you get easy access to additional information, training and qualifications that will help you to further your career.

How to join

Simply complete the online membership application form and ensure that you have your Cisco ID number (eight digit CSCO number), CV and credit/debit card details to hand.  Membership costs just £102 and the form only takes five minutes to complete.

What is 'fast-track'?

Fast track membership means that you can apply for membership with post-nominals without getting someone to support your application because your certification is verified by Cisco.

This makes the application process easier for you to complete as your Cisco certification demonstrates your commitment to professionalism and provides independent verification of your qualifications.
