Most of the IET's staff are located thirty miles north of London, UK, in Michael Faraday House, Stevenage
Most of the Institution of Engineering and Technology staff (including Inspec and Publishing) are now based at the Institution of Engineering and Technology's Hertfordshire office building in Stevenage. Opened in 1989, it is named after the pioneering electrical scientist, Michael Faraday. Meetings are still held in our prestigious London Headquarters Savoy Place.
